A good portion of the money you earn from your profitable ezine publishing will come from advertisers who want to promote their products or businesses in your publication. However, you need a plan in order to be effective at selling that space and in generating those profits.
Plan Your Rate
First, you need to set your advertising rates. Not having pre-established rates sends a signal that you are not professional and will hinder your chances of achieving profitable ezine publishing. If you have no idea what to charge, get some quotes from competing ezines that have a similar number of readers.
Second, you need to set a few ground rules for advertisers. You don’t want to fill up your ezine with ads for one product but if you don’t set a limit on how many ads can be placed by one advertiser that situation could arise.
