Increase Your Website Traffic And Profits With Ezine Articles
Being a newbie Internet marketer on a limited budget, I’ve been absorbing everything I could lay my hands on regarding marketing methods and all that other stuff.
By the way, not only am I a newbie, but I’m also a hopeless dreamer, fantasizing away on throwing all my new found riches at fast cars, mansions, pretty ladies and so on. However, I figured I’d better learn all I could before taking the market by storm by way of launching my still to be written Blockbuster Ebook.
Hence the burning of the midnight oil … and the Rude Awakening.
WOW! Talk about information overload!
After confusing the heck out of myself by studying SEO, I finally started to get the message. I was going to need a ton of money before learning how to do it right.
And then I tripped over article marketing and read about a popular article submission site, so I decided to go that route.
Why? I’m glad you asked. As I said, it all boils down to hard cash, and ARTICLE MARKETING IS FREE!
Okay. I figured it would take time and sweat equity to reach “Expert Author” status, but when I did, the benefits would be enormous. Becoming an expert would make the cumbersome gears and cogs of the Internet machine start grinding away in my favor.
Imagine my surprise and delight when it all started coming together a scant month after submitting my first article.
To explain, I’m going to quote the article I posted on by blog this morning:
“Late last night, I checked my email. I was surprised to note that they had accepted one of my scribbling attempts and added it to their article database. Anyway, I glanced at the notification and thought, “that’s nice” and toddled off without reading the message in full.
I stumbled out of bed at 4:00 AM this morning as usual, and as always, booted up my computer before my morning trip to the bathroom and on to the coffee machine.
When I got back to my desk, still bleary eyed, I decided to read the message in full before delegating it to the ‘writing’ folder.
I hastilly rubbed my eyes and read the message for a second time, convinced that I was hallucinating, but the pixels stayed put.
If you run your eyes over this blog, you might notice something new … I draw your attention to the logo on the right.
Expert Author no Less!
Heck, I’m no expert, darn it — I just tell it like it is. Anyway, they said the article would be featured on their high traffic page later today, so I figured that I’d better thank them publicly before they realized their mistake and yanked the rug out from under.
Thanks Ezine. You made my day!
