Writing articles about your business is a great way to reach out to your audience. It can educate your prospective clients about your business and it will cost you much lesser than adverting in the magazine or the newspapers. All you need is your computer, internet access, email address and word processing software that you can buy online. If you have that you’ll be on your way to marketing your business. Here’s how:

1. The ezine content should your article theme. Contents that are not relevant to the theme would seem unprofessional and unplanned. The contents and the theme as a all should be cohesive.

2. If hiring a freelancer to do the articles for you, you should choose the appropriate articles and accept only on rigid terms. The contents are important to ezine, your reader should take an interest on what they are reading for them to eventually buy your product. Every reader is a potential customer.

3. Your goal is to create an interesting yet informative article and publish it to as many readers possible. Let the reader know your business and provide a link of your website.

4. Articles should be able to tell a story. Do not give readers an encyclopedic explanation of your product. Tell it with your own voice and always provide a dynamic opening. The ideal length is about 500-600 words, anything longer than that would be too boring for words. Keep is short, informative and most of all, interesting. But remember, that above everything else, ezine is a marketing tool, so you must not forget to mention your product.
