Emails That Work

29 Jun, 2008  |  under Email Marketing

Sales message through emails are a lifeline. You must have a method to bring about full efficiency.
This takes a series of steps. None of which can be overlooked.

First Things First:

Do NOT Spam

If you have told your subscribers that you were going to send them weekly newsletters with product updates or offers, then do just that. Don’t fill their inbox daily. Not only is this spamming but your subscribers will just start deleting your messages and worse they will eventually unsubscribe.

Watch Your Title:

Do not use title lines with tons of exclamation marks. Headlines with the words FREE in all caps are also frowned on. The first is considered spamming and the second is usually very ineffective.
Instead use trigger words and capture their attention. You need to make an immediate impression.
Here are a few trigger words:
Acclaimed
Authentic
Award Winning
Bargain
Bonuses
Bargain

High Quality
Highly Regarded
Hot Product

Most Advanced
Most Trusted
Necessity
New Release
One of a Kind
Time Saving

Wise Investment

How many emails have you receive with headlines that have caught your attention and why? Consider these factors when writing your headline. You only have this one chance.

The Body of Your Email:

What are you selling and who are you selling it to? This merits your attention before you begin the letter. What is your niche looking for and how can you make that letter a success? Consider any purchasing cycles there may be such as seasonal buying or certain product types selling more profitable during a certain time.

Write to your prospects like you were talking to someone you know. Remember your niche and remain professional. You must know your products and niche well to sell.
Your first paragraph needs to flow smoothly explaining a point while developing a want for the consumer to keep reading. You are creating a solution to a problem or showing a need for a product or service. As your letter flows into the next paragraph your point comes to a conclusion and selling point.

They must have this product or service to solve their problems or enrich their lives!
At this point you want them to hit that link to place a purchase!
This process will take trial and error, along with effort. Proper cultivation of your email will lead to more sales.

Remember that with this sequence of performing email marketing you can be successful at it.
