Email Marketing Tips - Which Are the Best Days to Send an Email to Your List?
Knowing the optimum times to send an email to your list is vitally important for making maximum penny from your list. Now, people have different opinions on which is the best time to send out to your list. I have 3 years of experience in email marketing, so I have my own thoughts on what works and what doesn’t.
Here are the best days to send emails and get maximum response:
Tuesday - This is best for B2B (business-to-business) mailing lists. People have gotten over the Monday hump so response on this day is good.
Wednesday - Mid-week (Wednesday) is also known as hump day and is good for B2B mailing lists. People are getting over the hump so they are working harder than normal.
Friday - This is the best day for B2C (business-to-consumer) lists. It’s not the weekend where everyone is away from their computers and everyone is looking forward to the weekend. If you are selling information products, this is a particularly good day because people might want to pick up something to read over the weekend.
Now, how about times? Personally, I find these three mailing times to be particularly effective: 9AM, 4PM, and 9PM. 9AM is great because people are just clocking in to work and will check their emails. 4PM is also good because people tend to check their emails again before they leave work. And finally, 9PM works magic for B2C lists because everyone tends to finish their dinner already by this time and has logged on to their computer.
